Tuckerman is a small town in Jackson County, Arkansas with a population of around 1,700 people. The town was named after a man named John R. Tuckerman who donated land for the townsite. Agriculture is an important part of the local economy, with rice and soybeans being the primary crops. The town's historic district features several buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Tuckerman Water Tower and the Tuckerman Commercial Historic District. The town also hosts an annual John R. Tuckerman Antique Tractor and Engine Show.
