Elrod is an unincorporated community in Robeson County, North Carolina. The village may be small, but it has a rich history. The area was originally inhabited by the Lumbee Tribe, and the village was named after George Elrod, who served as a postmaster. Today, Elrod is a peaceful and rural area surrounded by beautiful farmland and forest. It is also home to the Elrod Church of God, a historic church that has been serving the community for over a century.
