Northfield, Kentucky is a small village located in the Louisville Metropolitan Area. It has a population of around 1,000 people and is mainly residential with a few small businesses. The village is known for its beautiful tree-lined streets and historic homes, many of which date back to the early 20th century. Northfield is also home to the historic Ballard School, which was built in 1910 and is now used by the village government. The village is easily accessible from Interstate 71 and is a short drive from downtown Louisville.
